A case of congenital dermoid of the limbus

Abstract

|
The authors had experienced a case of congential limbal dermoid.
The patient, a 32 year-old Korean male, visited at the clinic with the complaints of visual disturbance and mass feeling on his right eye.
The mass was measured 1. 5 X 0. 6 X 0. 3cm, impressed as a congenital limbal dermoid and resected surgically from the limbus in the direction of 6-8 o´clock.
Post operation histopathological study of the excised mass revealed a typical structure of the limbal dermoid, which was composed of sweat glands, sebaceous glands and etc.
